Meet our new managing director!

We’re proud to announce the appointment of Dave Galvin QFP, to the role of managing director.

Dave, previously director and head of franchising/senior business advisor here at d&t, has now been promoted to head up the company in recognition of his wealth of franchise and business experience.

Dave commented: “My role will be to build on d&t’s outstanding reputation for service and delivery and to continue the business’s trajectory of growth and flair for innovation. I am very much looking forward to developing new relationships as we expand our range of accountancy and business services in the industry.”

d&t – which won the 2018 British Franchise Association (BFA) Award for Innovation and Development and is known for its accountancy services nationwide – has recently launched two new facets to the business: d&t Funding and d&t Business Advisory.

Carl Reader, chairman at d&t, said: “We’re delighted to have someone of Dave’s experience to help us reach our next stage of growth. We are confident that he can help us develop our people and our processes further so that we can reach the next level.”

Dave Galvin has 20 years’ experience in the commercial world across multiple industries, with 14 of those spent in the franchise world. Prior to joining d&t, Dave was at The Dwyer Group, where he worked closely with their UK brands such as Mr. Electric and Drain Doctor, and beforehand with brands such as The Wheel Specialist, Papa John’s, Jiffy Packaging and Card Connection. Galvin concludes: “as an organisation, d&t has reached a particularly exciting time in its progress. We now have our new Funding and Business Advisory departments in place backed by strong and experienced teams who are already helping partners develop their own businesses in a variety of industry sectors. We anticipate these latest innovative additions to our portfolio of services will make a significant contribution to the growth of our partners’ businesses over the next few years and in-turn will allow us to further expand the scope of d&t.”
